Orange Goblin are not strictly a punk band. And this skull is not strictly a PUNKD collection skull.
But here we are.
Orange Goblin formed in London in 1995 and spent 30 years being one of the heaviest,most honest bands Britain ever produced.
Stoner metal, doom metal, hard rock — they did all of it and never once pretended to be something they weren't.
They chose their name as a deliberate act of love: they wanted a colour in it, because all their heroes had colours. Pink Floyd. Deep Purple. Black Sabbath. Blue Cheer.
The Goblin came from Tolkien. It all made perfect sense.
They announced their farewell in 2025 after 30 years and one final album. I miss them.
The skull carries their energy completely.
Blue and yellow spattered over an orange body, it has that neon-infused chaos that runs through the whole PUNKD collection — even though Orange Goblin would probably have something to say about being called punk.
I nearly kept this one for myself. It's loud and joyful and a bit mental and I love it.
